Visit from IPPNW youth leaders from Zambia and Kenya

We’re pleased to have received Walusungu Mtonga from Zambia and Bonventure Machuka from Kenya in our IPPNW Geneva Liaison Office this past week while they visited Geneva for the Anti-Personnel Landmine Convention meetings. During our discussions, we were delighted to learn about their achievements with WHO Africa to advance health professionals peace education through a prototype competency-based curriculum. Their success not only strengthens the credibility of this important work in health education but also adds valuable momentum to our ongoing efforts in advancing the Medical Peace Work curriculum in the European region.

We look forward to collaborating with Bon and Walu in the coming year!
