Jienna Foster has just been named as the incoming Director of IPPNW’s Geneva Liaison Office, where she will lead the team in resource mobilization, development, advocacy, and strategic engagement with multilateral institutions.
With over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, fundraising, and advocacy, Jienna has worked across health, climate, and humanitarian sectors. Already based in Geneva, she brings deep knowledge of the city’s multilateral ecosystem, including established relationships with UN agencies, diplomatic missions, and major actors throughout International Geneva. She has extensive experience developing and managing teams, overseeing large-scale strategic activities, and building sustainable funding streams and partnerships.
Jienna holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Sciences-Po Lyon and is fluent in English and French. She is committed to amplifying physicians’ voices in nuclear disarmament advocacy.
